Dr. Jugal M. Patel is a highly qualified orthopedic surgeon with an MS and BNB in Orthopedics. He specializes in trauma surgery, advanced joint replacement (knee & hip), and arthroscopy. With a passion for patient-centric care, Dr. Patel combines modern techniques with years of expertise to deliver the best possible outcomes for his patients.

Dr. Jugal Patel began his academic pursuits at Pravara Medical College, Loni, where he pursued his undergraduate studies. His quest for specialization led him to K.J. Somaiya Medical College and Research Center, Mumbai, where he completed his post-graduation in Orthopedics.
Recognizing the importance of specialized training in Joint replacement surgery (Both Knee and Hip), Dr. Patel pursued a Fellowship under the guidance of acclaimed Arthroplasty surgeons, Dr. Niraj Vora in Mumbai and Dr. Shekhar Aggarwal in New Delhi. During this fellowship, Dr. Patel had the invaluable opportunity to learn and perform both Primary and Revision Replacement surgeries (Both Knee and Hip), honing his skills and expertise in this specialized field.
In his relentless pursuit of comprehensive patient care, Dr. Patel further specialized in Pain Management, completing a Fellowship from the Daradia Institute in Kolkata. This specialized training focused on the diagnosis of pain, utilizing USG in musculoskeletal disorders, and employing advanced pain intervention techniques with C-arm and USG. Dr Jugal is also trained in using the novel minimally invasive technique named Coolief, wherein cooled radio-frequency waves are used to ablate nerves carrying pain sensations in the knee, hip, and shoulder.
Dr. Patel has also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic at K.J. Somaiya Medical College and Research Center, Mumbai, where he not only independently performed complex joint replacement and trauma surgeries but also had an opportunity to pass on his knowledge and experience to young and budding orthopedic surgeons.
Dr. Patel has published his work on “A comparative study between Pedicle Screw instrumentation with Posterolateral fusion and Pedicle Screw instrumentation with interbody fusion in patients of Lumbar spondylolisthesis” in the International Journal of Scientific Study, March 2019.
Currently, Dr. Patel is working as an Orthopedic Consultant, specializing in Joint Replacement surgery, at Dr Jugal Patel's Bone and Joint Clinic, Nashik.
